Please join us for our Inaugural Game Changer’s Luncheon on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Wenatchee Convention Center to honor Lynn & Nancy Miller!
Upon retiring in 2018, Lynn and Nancy chose Malaga for its sunshine, golf courses, skiing, water sports, and four distinct seasons – all set in a welcoming community that would soon become their home base and where they would start their First Tee journey. As lifelong golfers, Lynn and Nancy recognized that the First Tee provided the opportunity to share one of their passions with the next generation while helping young people develop essential life skills and core values. Drawing inspiration from the First Tee – Yakima program (established in 2007), Lynn and Nancy founded First Tee – Wenatchee Valley in 2018. With the guidance from the established Yakima chapter, both chapters merged into one in 2019, now known as First Tee – Central Washington. Having first-hand experience on the impact this program has made on our participants, Lynn and Nancy continues to volunteer and support the chapter till this day. Looking ahead, their vision is clear and ambitious: expand local capacity to serve 300+ youth in the Wenatchee Valley annually (compared to the current 150) by recruiting, engaging, and training additional coaches and parents. This growth mirrors the success of the Yakima area, which now serves approximately 400 youth per year.
Join us as we celebrate Lynn and Nancy Miller and their incredible achievements in leading FTCW to what it is today! The thousands of students and families that continue to benefit annually from First Tee – Central Washington, deeply appreciate your financial investment in them. The Game Changer’s Luncheon represents a key source of funding for our general operating needs.
As always, our luncheon will be kept to one hour and still allows for plenty of time to connect with friends and like-minded philanthropic community members. We look forward to our first luncheon event that features some amazing people that continues to impact our mission. We look forward to hearing from Lynn and Nancy and many others on Friday, April 24, 2026!
