Programing for First Tee – Central Washington takes place in a variety of locations in Yakima County, and we are continually working to expand our program to better serve youth in our region. Currently program classes are offered at our new practice facility at the SOZO Sports Complex in Yakima, the Suntides Golf Course in Yakima, and Mt. Adams Country Club in Toppenish. We also utilize Fisher Park Golf Course for end of class player assessments in the PLAYER, PAR, BIERDIE and EAGLE programs.
We provide all necessary equipment, but participants are welcome to use their own clubs if they have them. Participants who advance to PAR level will receive their very own set of clubs thanks to a generous grant from Les Schwab Tire Center of Yakima.
Practice Facility at SOZO
First Tee – Central Washington’s facility is located at the SOZO Sports Complex in Yakima offers the opportunity for year-round programming thanks to artificial turf greens and a large, indoor classroom.

Black Rock Creek Golf Course
Our newest location in the lower Yakima Valley, we will offer beginner and intermediate classes at this location.
Mount Adams Country Club
First Tee – Central Washington began offering programming at the Mt. Adams Country Club a couple years ago and the program has been consistently growing. We currently offer beginner and intermediate classes at this location.
Apple Tree Golf Course
First Tee – Central Washington utilizes Apple Tree Golf Course for our High School Prep/Tournament Ready classes. Opportunities for playing and lessons are offered during this course.
Fisher Park Golf Course
First Tee – Central Washington utilizes Fisher Golf Course for our annual kid’s Pat McCarthy Memorial Tournament and some lessons when needed.
