What to do during the winter?

We are offering a winter golf program Jan. 3-25 and Feb. 1-23.  Classes will take place, beginning at the First Tee Practice Facility at Yakima’s SOZO Sports Complex.  Classes will consist of indoor bookwork, putting and chipping practice, and outdoor putting, chipping and driving practice as weather permits.

The program is open to all ages, the cost is $45 for each session, and all equipment is provided.

Scholarships are available!  We want to ensure every child who wants to participate in the First Tee program has the opportunity to do so.  For more information about our scholarship program, please contact the First Tee of Central Washington office at 509-949-6349.

  • Understanding and Managing emotions
  • Resolving conflicts
  • Setting up step-by-step goals
  • Planning for the future
  • Appreciating diversity

The Power of Relationships

“I consider my coaches at The First Tee to be some of the most important mentors I had growing up.” –alumnus

First Tee coaches are trained to create positive relationships that inspire youth to discover their individual potential. Our programs help young people build confidence, develop respect and appreciate the value of giving back to our community all while learning the lifelong sport of golf.
